As we run head-on into a packed 2012 venue diary, putting the thoughts of Christmas and Valentines parties behind us, I think that this would be an ideal time to introduce Kudos.
We are the sole caterer to the Brighton Centre and that definitely means we are not a one size fits all company. We understand that each of our clients is different and that’s why every solution that we create is bespoke. What is the most difficult thing about visiting a conference? Time away from your loved ones? Scheduling in sleep when you have a full programme of day and evening events? The dreaded ‘’business casual’’ dress code (what is it?!) or precious time away from the office and returning to a mountain of emails?
For me it’s definitely the latter which is why Wi-Fi and internet access at conferences and events is so important. There is nothing worse than when you sit down on a break with your laptop or Smartphone (and a strong coffee) ready to check-in at the office only to be faced with a ‘’PayGate’’ asking for every card detail you own – and, by the time you’ve jumped through all the hoops, break’s over and it’s time to rejoin the conference! Exhausting!
It feels like only yesterday Liz posted her blog waving “goodbye” to the 2011 conference season yet here we are again, having already waved “hello” to our first of 2012.
We welcomed the UNSION Black Members Conference to a very snowy Brighton over the weekend and are delighted to say that despite the rather adverse weather the event was a great success; going off without a hitch. It is testament to the professionalism and dedication of the venue’s team that the event continued to run within the building and that we remained operational throughout. Continue reading
