All Change!

This week it’s all change in the venue. We hosted our final conference of the year last week and as we said ‘Goodbye’ to the Royal College of Midwives we said ‘Hello’ to concert season in the run up to Christmas.

This means that for a few days we have a quiet venue which gives us the opportunity to continue on with the refurbishment works. Continue reading

Babies galore

Well it’s now my turn to blog. I’m really glad that in the Brighton Centre Conference Office we have finally joined the world of blogging and social media. We are all (slowly) getting to grips with how it is done, how often to do it and so on… I could actually teach my 15 year old son a thing or two now about social media rather than asking him things such as ‘what is a re-tweet?’ and ‘how do I ‘like’ someone’s status?’ Continue reading

In a City like Brighton do you really need a social programme?

Last week I gave you an insight into just one of the many weird and wonderful events that take place all year round in Brighton.

On Saturday the White Night festival graced our streets and as I walked round the nocturnal city, I spotted a few familiar faces from the ESGCT conference which was taking place at the Brighton Centre. It made me incredibly proud to witness visitors taking part in the fun that Brighton has to offer on almost a weekly basis. Continue reading
