This week at The Brighton Centre we are mainly learning how to cure Zombie-ism

This weekend saw the Fifth Annual Zombie Parade, Beach of the Dead V, lurch and crawl its way around Brighton city centre. Thousands of people took part in what is always a well received and fun event; even if no one can tell you how or why it started!

After a little convincing from a friend I decided I would join in with the walk this year and supply (somewhat reluctantly) a photo for your entertainment. I am sure there will be many more floating around online as the streets were lined with hundreds of people taking photos whilst enjoying the sunshine; eating and drinking, outside the restaurant and pub lined route which took us from Victoria Gardens, outside the Royal Pavilion, up through the North Laine and down past the main shopping centre to Brighton’s famous seafront.

Welcome to the new Brighton Centre Conference blog.

We’re up and running after a long summer of changes here at the Brighton Centre and we’re aiming to buck the national trend of miserable news by being all positive and annoying about the future!

Everyday we’re fed doom and gloom by the media; unemployment is at its highest, living costs are rising, pensions are shrinking etc etc. Things are very tough at the moment for everyone and we are more than aware that the business landscape is changing. Continue reading
